If you want to make sure you have everything set up correctly and see the sales process without messing up your records, you can put the sales feature in test mode.
Test mode means that any sales completed will not be saved for reports, or affect your inventory and cash count. To enable test mode, navigate the Sales feature in the left menu.
Above the customer information section, click the ellipses (...) and then select Enable test mode.
A notice will pop up at the top of the screen reminding you you’re in test mode. To leave test mode, click Disable test mode in the notice.
