Dejavoo is a cloud integration: Android P1 and P8 terminals talk to PHP Point Of Sale over the internet, with no software to install. Enter the Merchant ID on the location and a Terminal ID, Auth Key and Freedom eCom Token per register, and you get chip and tap, keyed entry, tips, EBT, saved cards, subscriptions, online invoice payments and full void/refund control.

Dejavoo is a current, fully supported card-processing integration built around Dejavoo's Android terminals — the P1 (countertop, with built-in printer) and the P8 (handheld, for selling on the floor). It is a cloud integration: the register talks to the terminal over the internet, so there is no local software and no Windows listener to install, and it works from any browser. What you need

Your Dejavoo enrollment paperwork provides everything the setup screens ask for:

• A Merchant ID for the business.
• For each terminal: its Terminal ID (the TPN printed with the device) and its Dejavoo Auth Key.
• A Freedom eCom Token — needed only if you take keyed (manually entered) payments, save cards on file, charge subscriptions, or let customers pay invoices online. Card-present-only stores can leave it blank.

Connect the terminal

1. Power the terminal on.
2. Join it to the store network: Wi-Fi from the terminal's own settings on either model, Ethernet on the P1, and the P8 also supports a cellular connection.
3. Confirm the terminal shows itself online before pairing it in PHP Point Of Sale.

Configure the location

1. Go to Locations, edit your location, and open the Integrations tab.
2. Check Enable Credit Card Processing.
3. Choose Dejavoo in the Credit Card Processor dropdown.
4. Enter the Merchant ID from your enrollment.
5. Click Save.

Map each register

Still in the location editor, open the Registers & Terminals tab and fill in one row per register that takes cards:

1. Enter the lane's Terminal ID.
2. Enter its Dejavoo Auth Key.
3. Enter the Freedom eCom Token if that lane takes keyed or card-on-file payments.
4. Tick Enable Tips if the terminal should prompt for a tip.
5. Click Save.

With processing enabled, the register list shows a status dot per row — the app checks each Dejavoo terminal live, so you can see at a glance whether a lane's device is reachable before the first sale.

What the integration supports

• Card-present payments — chip, contactless and swipe on the terminal. Choose Credit at checkout and the terminal wakes up; see taking card payments for the full checkout flow.
• A separate Debit button — appears alongside Credit when Show Debit payment option when using integrated credit card processing is on in Store Config (only PHP POS Payments and Dejavoo get this).
• Keyed entry — type the card number instead of using the terminal, through Dejavoo's e-commerce gateway using the register's Freedom eCom Token. If a register has no Terminal ID at all, every charge on it is keyed.
• Tips — the terminal prompts when the register's Enable Tips is ticked, and tips can be adjusted after the sale from the card-transaction history; see payment types, tips and split payments.
• EBT — with Enable EBT Payments on in Store Config, the EBT and EBT Cash tenders appear and the register offers EBT Balance and EBT Cash Balance checks that read the balance from the card on the pad; Use Integrated EBT (Location → Integrations) runs those tenders through the terminal instead of recording them manually.
• Saved cards, subscriptions and invoices — cards can be saved on file at checkout, recurring series and subscription charges run against them, and customers can pay invoices online by card.
• Voids and refunds — the register menu's View/Edit Card Transactions page lists every transaction with sale ID, amount, cardholder, masked card number, entry method and response, and offers Void (full or partial), Refund, Reverse and Capture actions.
• Offline fallback — if the terminal stops responding, the register shows "Your credit card terminal is OFFLINE please check connection before processing sale" with a Use Manual Entry button, so the line keeps moving on keyed entry while you check the device's power and network.

Common questions

Do I need to install anything on my computer? No. Dejavoo is a cloud integration — the browser and the terminal each talk to Dejavoo's service over the internet, so there is no local listener or driver, and any supported browser works.

What's the difference between choosing "Dejavoo" and "PHP POS Payments Standard"? The hardware family overlaps (P1/P8 terminals are sold through PHP POS Payments too), but they are different processor choices with different credentials: PHP POS Payments Standard runs on the Valor rail with an App ID/EPI/App Key, while Dejavoo uses the Merchant ID, Terminal ID, Auth Key and Freedom eCom Token described here. Pick the one that matches your processing agreement; PHP POS Payments covers the other.

Can I take a payment without the terminal? Yes — keyed entry works through the Freedom eCom Token, either by choice or via the Use Manual Entry button the register offers when the terminal is offline. A register with no Terminal ID configured is keyed-only.

The register says the terminal is OFFLINE. What do I check? The terminal's power and its network connection (Wi-Fi or Ethernet on the P1; Wi-Fi or cellular on the P8), then whether the status dot for that register goes green in Locations → Registers & Terminals. Until it does, Use Manual Entry keeps sales moving.

Does Dejavoo support EBT? Yes. Turn on Enable EBT Payments in Store Config for the EBT and EBT Cash tenders and the register's balance-check buttons, and Use Integrated EBT on the location's Integrations tab to process them through the terminal. EBT pre-fills with only the EBT-eligible portion of the cart — items flagged Is EBT item.

Can customers pay their invoices online with Dejavoo? Yes — Dejavoo is one of the processors that supports online invoice payment, using the Freedom eCom Token. See invoices and billing.

Where do I void or refund a Dejavoo charge? On the register menu's View/Edit Card Transactions page: Void reverses a charge before settlement (a partial amount is allowed), Refund sends money back after settlement, and returns rung through the register against the original sale refund the card the usual way.
