Two Locations Issues
I added a second location, automaticlly all of the categories and items of location 1 have been duplicated to location 2 ... my issue is that when I remove an item from location 1 it also removes it from location2 .. does anyone had this issue and knows how to fix it, thank you.

Items and categories are shared between locations. You can decide to NOT sell certain items at locations by going to items --> edit --> locations --> Do NOT Sell at this location.
The 'do not sell at this location' is very tedious considering having lots of items in the inventory. For instance, we have over 7000 items distributed over 10 locations
It's a good thing to share items and categories between locations, but cashiers should only be able to see items that are available at their active locations AUTOMATICALLY.
You can use tags also to make item having a tag not available at locations
Can you give a little more detail on how a Tag can make an Item not available?
You can edit a tag and check a box to not make a tag available at location. Then any item with that tag would not be sellable at a location that you choose
Okay, so the focus is just on making it not visible to the cashier. Is there any way to make it not visible at all - i.e., in Items - as what happens when an Item is deleted?
Yes you can do this per employee by uncheck "See all items" in permissions
