How to do I sell singles out of a case of something?
For example I have a cases of 12 wine bottles each and want to sell by the case or the bottle?

The best way to do this is via quantity unit variations
1. Create an item called "XYZ Wine". You would setup the price for 1 bottle.
2. In the variations tab there is the ability to add quantity unit variations. Add a variation called "Case". In the case put 12 for the quantity and also put your cost and selling price for the case.
Then when you sell the wine you can choose case as an option
