Do NOT Allow Items To Be Sold Below Cost Price, works?

I was checking that option and I am not sure if I'm wrong, it works?

I tried creating a product with a cost of $40 and sale price $20 or $0 and there was no problem, I made the sale. Not like the -Do Not Allow Out Of Stock Items To Be Sold- which I was unable to add the item.

    Right now it only applies if you edit an item after it is added to the sale. We will change it in next release so it will prevent adding the item the 1st time.
