PHP POS iOS app
I just procured a used iPad. It turns out that it's a gen 4, and can't update to iOS 11. And the PHP POS app in the apple store is stated to run only on 11 or higher. Is there's possibly a PHP POS app available somewhere that CAN run on iOS 9 or 10?

I take it you mean the MacOS Safari, and not the iOS Safari? I don't see any download options for the POS for Apple products other than MacOS.
You just iOS safari just like you would use a browser on a computer.
I know I'm missing something.
If I download the setup file like I do on a pc, I start at this page (below) and choose from the options - and I don't see an option for iOS. Or does Safari in iOS allow a MacOS file to install?
You wouldn’t download anything. You would just point your safari browser on phone to the host name of your pos installed on a server
Chris, are you maybe thinking I have the online version? I have the downloaded one. There does seem to be a number of advantages of the online....
If I recall you installed download on your own server. So you can just put that same url into safari browser
