Suspended Sales / Layaway Tax on installments & reports

Our store has been having issues with the closing sales every day. PHP POS Sales report does not add in the lay away sales of the day. For that reason, we are always X amount off in the closing balance. When looking for the culprit, it is the Layaway. The option to hide the suspended sales is disabled so that shouldn't be an issue. Any way to amend that?
Also, we are required by law to charge tax on the installments in every suspended sale but PHP POS is not do in it. I am running on the hosted version of PHP POS.
Any help will be very appreciated.

Layaways always close the full amount in the date the layaway has. If you want to know how much money actually came in on layaway payments use reports --> Payments --> Summary and this will show you the money that has come in including partial layaway payments for the day
Also if you use reports --> suspended sales --> detailed. There is "Tax Based On Payments" that you can use for how much there is in taxes
