There isn’t a way to do this as reports rely on other tables such as phppos_items

But can I migrate the entire database?
How can this be done from cpanel (PhpMyAdmin) of one hosting account to another?

You would simply do a database backup in cpanel/php pos (store config --> Backup database --> option 1) then follow the steps for new install @ https://support.phppointofsale.com/hc/en-us/articles/360000315843-Install-onto-Existing-Server-Manual-Install

Only difference is you would populate the database from backup

We migrated to a new host and everything now points to another DNS server but there was a lag between when the migration was done and when the DNS issues was resolve. A whole 48 hours of data is still on the former cPanel that is not reflecting when the domain is fully propagated on the new host.

However, I still have access to the former cPanel. Is there a way I can download the database backup needed for the new install from cPanel ? If I have to follow the step above (store config --> Backup database --> option 1), it means I must be able to login into the app while it is connected to the former host, right?

Let me know if there is a way to get the needed backup from the former cPanel without going through the store config in PHP POS.

    Thanks!

Yes! In cpanel, click backups then simply in the mysql section click the name of the database.

    Okay, thanks!

So instead of doing a new install, can I just do a "Restore a MySQL Database Backup" from the new cPanel to replace the one that's incomplete?

yes. However you can't merge and will need to restore to brand new database

I am uploading the downloaded mysql backup (from the old server) via the "restore a MySQL Database backup" option on the new server. Is that right?

Can you send a message to support@phppointofsale.zendesk.com with your new and sold cpanels and I can move it
