Currency variations
This may be a silly question, but what is the purpose of currency variations within the store config?
I had initially expected it would form part of cash payment options at the payment stage of a sale (so maybe a popup that would offer a 'one click' option to select what a customer may have given you as payment - but that doesn't seem to be available - and you seem to need to type in what you have been given each time.
Or have I missed something?

This is used when "Track Cash In Register" is on in store config to quickly count how much is in the drawer. This eventually will do what you want in terms of having one click options to pay.
