Barcode with medical products
Hi,
As you know, that all medical products has already printed barcode. Is there such way to add this external barcode or ISBN/UAC/... to the item; so that this barcode can be used to identify the item?

I am not sure what you are asking. Do you mean for the barcodes we print? This can be changed in store config --> "ID to show on barcodes"
I want the printed barcode of the mediacl item to be its barcode in the system instead of the barcode generated by the system?

Go into store config/settings and change item id to show on barcode to UPC/EAN/ISBN
Is there any additional configuration related to Scaling Barcode Format for the Medical Items? Or it does not make sense?

The size as of now cannot be changed.
So,what is the maximum allowed size?
Is it 13-EAN?

It is code 128 and will accept 13 numbers/letters easily

Yes if you scan the barcode into upc field
You mean the UPC field in item details on adding new item, Does not you?
