Modules not staying inactive
I'm on the latest version and have deactivated a few modules that we're not going to use for now but when I make any other changes and save in Store Config it reactivates them. Any ideas?

Hmm I was not able to reproduce on cloud latest version. Do you have download version? If so how did you install it?
It's 19.4 downloaded on 2/20/24. Manual download and install. Coming from really old version....14, I imported each table individually. Everything seems to be working great except for that, some permissions resetting too, but I think I got that under control with setting it by location. The only other thing is sales data that I imported is good except it doesn't so subtotals, totals and tax.
Maybe it has to do with old data/setting I imported, I can live with it I guess since everything else is working good.
What is max_input_vars in php.ini (make 10000)
it was 8000, changed to 10000, didn't seem to make a difference.
Can you open support ticket at help.phppos.com and send me your server info and login info?
I really appreciate your help, I'd rather not share that, I will live with it for now. Any simple way to make subtotals, totals and tax show for old data?
There could have been a data migration issue, it is really hard to know without having the initial database file
