variation and UPC

Hello 

I DIDN'T get recent solution for this issue in the community, item numbers in Variation section is not shown as UPC in sale or receiving page while selling 
how to solve that ?

and its not showing on the receipt as well even if the box is checked in store configuration

Please advice
