There are two changes in behaviors in Sales and Receivings that I'd like to request. For us, anyway, they would make a huge difference.
1. When you edit or delete an item in either, it would be extremely helpful to NOT go back to the top of the list after every one. With how much vertical space each item occupies, it makes it very difficult to navigate long lists. As examples, we had a Receiving yesterday for 39 line items. And it Sales, we have wholesalers that might buy 30-40 items at a time. If you're reviewing the list, there's no easy way to tell where in the list you were at before the edit/deletion.
Could there be an option to allow the list of items to just stay put after an edit or deletion?
2. Maybe I've gotten spoiled by how easy quantities are to enter for Inventory Counts, but we feel that entering quantities in Sales and Receivings is not as efficient as it could be. E.g., in that Receiving I mention above, we took in 172 total items in those 39 lines - the vast majority being a quantity other than "1". You can do the search by item name or number quite easily by just staying on the keyboard, but then the quantity can only be changed by going to the mouse and trying to get the cursor onto that tiny little field that the "1" is contained in - it gets kind of tough if you're trying to do it quickly.
For an Inventory count, though, you can enter a number, hit enter, enter a quantity, hit enter, and you're done. It's so much easier.
Would it be possible to have a setting in config that requires a quantity with every item? Could it be set up to work like it does in the Count function?
