I have added this to our internal tracker for possible inclusion for future release. We will see if any other replies to give priority to some of these features

for the below you should be able to change "Default quantity when selling or receiving to 0 and this you can edit during sale (for the item)

    3. Allow a fraction to be sold when "not allowed to sell items that are out of stock" is on. One cannot sell the last .5 of an item for example.

Nos. 1, 2, 4, 5, and 6 would be great features for us...

    Thanks

Hello again Chris, for some of these I'm mostly thinking for employees who Do Not have all permissions, so they can sell a .5, or see if another location has an item in order to better serve customers and work more efficiently.

But #1 still remains the #1 ask and would be phenomenal for managing stock levels across locations.

    Thanks!

1,2,and 6 would be a huge help to us.  We utilize a second location as our "overstock" storage. So many times we end up reordering product that we didn't need because we had it in overstock but no easy way to compare. I have to look at 20k items each week for restock and can't jump back and forth looking at each one to check "overstock".  I would think being able to compare via a report (example: show all items with less than 1 in qty at location X that have more than 0 in qty at location Y) would make it super easy to shift overstock and not reorder.  Would also help folks who manage multiple physical stores as they could shift internal inventory as opposed to reordering if not needed.

On that note, being able to show in POS stock in multiple locations would be great (doesn't need to be added to transaction necessarily, can be sold to negative and adjusted via transfer afterwards). I know we can switch locations to check for an item but it hoses up the current transaction when switching locations.

Being able to export with a column showing "location in store" and being able to import it with changes would be great. We try to keep shop fresh by occasionally rearranging  inventory and having to go in and manually move all the "location in store" for each item is tedious.

6 would just help with bookkeeping and issue solving.

1,2, and 6 are in latest version. You can see stock of an item at all locations by clicking the item name from sales, items or receivings screen and then select inventory tab

6 has been added to 17.1

Woah! all those are in 17.1?  Dang, I'm on 17.0.   I guess it's update time again!  Thanks!  Somehow I missed the new version.
