    All customers have store credit by default. Do you want me to remove payment type it they are over credit limit?

    That could work. I could just set a customers store credit balance to zero and then their would not be a store credit option.

    The best method would be to set credit limit to 0 and then when you try to add a payment it will fail

    Right, I have that set up now but would really like if the button would not be there if you can't charge to a store credit.

    I agree, it would be great if the store account button was not visible when the credit limit is set to 0.

    Does it hang? You might want to uncheck "Track cash in register" (And all the payment types) in store config. This can sometimes cause the sales screen not to load if you have never closed your register since starting php pos.

    You can submit a ticket at:

    https://support.phppointofsale.com/hc/en-us/requests/new

    and provide a database backup and I can take a look

    Might also want to do these steps

    You will need to perform debugging steps to figure out the exact error.
    Open up index.php in the phppos root folder:

    FIND:
    define('ENVIRONMENT', isset($_SERVER['CI_ENV']) ? $_SERVER['CI_ENV'] : 'production’);

    REPLACE:
    define('ENVIRONMENT', isset($_SERVER['CI_ENV']) ? $_SERVER['CI_ENV'] : ‘development’);

    open application/config/database.php

    FIND:
    $db['default']['db_debug'] = FALSE;

    REPLACE:
    $db['default']['db_debug'] = TRUE;

    Then see the errors.

    Do NOT forget to undo these changes afterwords.
