Deposit ( Partial Payment )

We offer customers to pay partially , a deposit .

What would be the best way to enter it in the POS other than suspended sales?

    you can add it as giftcard and atatche it to the customer

    A partial Deposit can be applied using the Store Account Payment.  When the customer buys or put down a deposit for an item, put the full amount in the store account.  When the customer is ready to make a partial payment, you can do it one of 2 ways.

    Method 1:

    1. Search for the customer from the Customer Menu
    2. If he has a balance, you'll see a "Pay" Button and click on it
    3. From there, it will show all the invoices that he owes money on.  Select the invoice that he wants ot make a partial payment and type in the amount.
    4. Complete the sales as normal.  His account will reflect the outstanding amount after deducting from the partial payment.

    Method 2:

    1. Go to the Sales Screen and select Store Account Payment (the button next to the Item look field)
    2. Type in the customer's name from the right side
    3. Select the invoice that the payment will be applied to and click on Pay
    4. Complete the sales as normal.
